The Red Sea Cultural Foundation in Hargassa

Hargassa, once known as a mother of Somali art, has been destroyed in 1988. Radio station employees are trying to preserve the city's culture before they escape. They're pulling cassettes and reel recordings down from the shelves and packing them into boxes. Some tapes will end up being sent to neighboring Djibouti and Ethiopia but the rest are being rushed down into an underground room that won't be uncovered until years later.
