What's the Commonsense of a Policy Analysis?
A lot of things get assumed to be common sense too quickly. Cost benefit analysis is an attempt to say, like, you don't wat to misallocate money. It's interesting because we only start requiring a cost benefit analysis in this formal way in the federal government at 19 81. And i think there's this burden of proof on new policy that might actually be benefits of public policy.
