Scott Fowler has written a book about the history of technology. He says he started playing with computers as a boy, and then went on to work in tech fields before turning his attention away from them when the World Wide Web came online. But now that it's all come back into focus for him, Fowler is looking at how we can use technology to help solve real-world problems. "Technology is, in some sense, the least interesting part Of our information society," writes Fowler.
