The Gift of Being a Public Persona

I think it's an incredible gift you've given to be as open as you are in the book but I know it can come with a lot of personal sacrifice deciding to be that vulnerable and so open obviously just being a public persona. How did you kind of silence those voices and decide like this is okay and also like protect yourself in the process of kind of exposing yourself? "The key for me has been I just like I don't look, you know, I just don't want to look at anything," she says.
