The Noble Eightfold Path
The noble eightfold path is not a sort of trading or stepping from stage to stage. It's imbibing a certain inspiration having a certain experience and then allowing that to permeate gradually all aspects of one's life, says the Dalai Lama. The idea behind this symbolism is for people to be saturated in that experience at all levels all aspects until they are permanently as it were soaked up by it.
