For many people who struggle with anger, they're like injustice collectors. They're constantly scanning for disrespect and seeing the worst in others. Instead of saying that when the person cuts you off, this is awful and terrible and horrible, just say to yourself, you know, bad drivers exist. This is part of life. I'm not the policeman of the universe. Let it go. We sometimes ask people to practise this simple sequence of just practising kind of forgiveness in small situations. It's not what they're doing naturally, and so this will seem sort of foreign to many, many people who are acting automatically.
