The Behavior of Capuchin Monkeys

All primates in South America are generically called New World Monkeys. Capuchins are the only ones that we know of to have a precision grip where they can bring the thumb and forefinger together in a precise way. They also show some degree of independent digit control, that is they can extend the second digit without extending the other digits as we do when we point.
