Is This a Reflection of the Russian Military?

The deputy commander of ucranian forces commented that he was sort of surprised tha russian forces weren't even staying to fight. Mike just arched his eyebrows, that's why. The thing that surprised me wasn't this. I mean, they were going to be rapidly enveloped in a pocket and that a choice between becoming po ws or enacting a rapid retreat. And to what extent it was panicked, i think in some cases it probably was. But the two main strategic blunders that i saw from the Russian militr were, first thit's a colossal military intelligence failure.
