The Life of a Roman Catholic
Gordano bruno was born in italy and spent most of his life with the catholic church. In 15 78 he moved to geneva, switzerland where he converted to calvinism. He got into trouble for publishing a pamphlet which criticized a prominent calvinist. Was arrested and excommunicated but tried to make amends by offering penance or absolution - both were denied. After that strife Bruno went on to find work teaching philosophy in toulous before returning to france.
