Is There a Risk in Taking a Narrative Project?

A couple of years ago, I felt very desperate for any and all narrative work. I still tried to be discerning with the work that I took. You want it to be a risk at the same token. A lot of people say your career is sort of defined by what you choose not to do. At the end of the day, you also really do need to take risks.
