The Importance of Avisena
Avisena says he was forced to leave and move from one city to another, finally winding up in Jordan. It was here that he met his student and future biographer Al-Juzjani. He also clashed with a representative of the Baghdad School of Aristotunian philosophers. The only member of the school whose work he valued, or admitted to valuing, was Al-Farabi.
