The Fed Needs to Create Unemployment
Since February of 2020, the month before the pandemic began, we have added one million new jobs to the American economy. We're a million and a half to 2 million short just on the population growth that occurred. And it drives me nuts when somebody says, yep, we need to get more people unemployed as the solution. That's just insane on its face.
