The Importance of AI for Good
I think we're on the verge of sort of new possibilities in terms of AI and language. I remember seeing a translation for very old Japanese, like that only maybe 100 scholars in the world can speak now. There are tens of thousands or millions of texts in a form of Japanese that's really not used anymore. And machine learning is able to augment the ability of those translators to scale what they're doing.
