Is It by Grace That You Have Been Saved?

The Apostle Paul hammers on this point. The fact that we cannot earn our salvation strikes at the very heart of pride in us, which I think is why it can be so difficult for us to walk in God's grace. See God's grace denies us the opportunity to exalt ourselves. He doesn't take note of what we do and then reward us by doing the rest.
