"I think the control, freak nature of not only people, but especially addicts and especially untreated addicts, thinking that it's up to them to direct the world because everybody else just doesn't know," he says. "It feels like betrayal when women tell you like, why are you always trying to do what you think men are supposed to do? Like you're not being grateful for my input." He adds: "If I just say those things, I am by default listening and saying them to myself"
