The Importance of Dialectics in Marxism

Engels has this really profoundly interesting view of dialectics and this text reading through it. I was incredibly impressed with his ability to tie in Darwin, tie in these biological questions. So the next thing that's really important for Engels though, is talking about dialectics in relation to a specific philosopher who Marx was a student of - Hegel. He says that really the dialectical development culminates in Hegel in a way where he looks at history as constant motion, change, transformation, development. This will become extremely important for Marx later on.
