The Value of Corbo's Excavation Reports
A few years after the excavation, corbo published his excavation reports in italian. It was those excavations that really allowed us, for the first time, to assess this site in terms of its first century context. With the renovations, most of these findings were covered up with the modern floor and some of the modern chapel features. But based on corbo's excavation reports, we are able now to go back and assess what he found.
