I Think He's Implying That You Should Think Before You Write

He does say you should think before you write, but i'm wondering if he means publishing stuff as a writer. He doesn't seem to say much of the activity of writing as part of your thinking - in terms like journaling or something. I mean, my experience is that those two things are different. And i used to do much more of just the thinking, because writing is a more anxiety producing process for me. But lately i think more by writing. And i find it enormously useful,. So if that's what he's saying, i think id disagree with him. A thought only really lives until it has reached the boundary line of words. It then becomes petrified and dies immediately
