The Vocal Learning Hypothesis
Theory of vocal learning was first proposed by eric jarvis back in episode 57. Now a group at santa cruz and california trained a sea lion, known not to be a focal learner, to try and synchronize to music or to different sound signals. And they were successful. But since then, more studies have been done that ar more systematic than the ones that could be done tat its noble in the lap with bitter regards also are sensitive to to these regularities.
