Christian philosopher marylind mccord adams defined horends evils as those evils, the participation in which gives one reason prima faci to doubt whether one's life could be a great good. By contrast, if naturalism is true, no such person as god exists. This fact establishes the far too often ignored entailment of divine attributes, the unsurpassable ampathy of god. Given that the greater an individuals apathy, the more potent their opposition is to horrific suffering, how much greater must the opposition of gods be to such herrific evils?
