How Did the Pandemic Influence Your Career?
I think I was meant to come to LA to live through the pandemic and to meet the chief merchant who I worked with. So I learned a lot about my leadership at that time because I had to recover from the whiplash of, wait, we're getting locked down. It really was for me an invitation to be a human, leading other human beings through what was the scariest, most uncertain time in all of our lives. And I loved it. I loved leading that team. I was stretched in every way a person can be stretched. Once I got to the other side,. after bringing in a lot of celebrity partners, we launched an app. We rebranded.
