Is Decentralization a Mean to an End?

I think decentralization is really a means to an end, right? But if you have somebody who game the system or hacked it, like, I don't think that they necessarily are entitled to that even if it preserves quote unquote more decentralization. So yeah, I'm kind of ambivalent I guess. There's always going to be people who are looking for different attack vectors. In 10 years it gets exponentially harder to be able to compromise these systems.
