Andrew: Do the folks at home know that your first name is Mylon and not Craig? I think it came up in a previous bonus episode actually. Because that's why some of our listeners call me Bill. So I don't know why whenever my ancestors crossed the Atlantic and came to America some of them started saying Mylon instead of Milan or Milan or however but it's my understanding that it's Milan Kandera. He is a Czech author so you shared lineage between me and him I suppose. The big thing in his biography that I have Andrew is that he was exiled to he like left Czechoslovakia in 1975 in exile, naturalized as a French citizen in 1981.
How is sex different than love? Is privacy a necessity for human identity? For political identity? DOES GOD POOP?
With the help of Milan Kundera, we attempt to answer these questions and more in this bonus episode on his classic novel The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
Also, be sure to listen post-outro to experience the horrors of a Google Hangout gone wrong.
