Carbon capture and storage is gaining momentum in the LNG sector. Liquefide CO2 turns out to be incredibly corrosive. We're pumping it the wrong way up a 20-year-old pipe under enormous pressure. A single leak will result in acidification of the seas, asphyxiation of marine life. The IPCC was so clear, no new coal we gas ditched the public money going towards a new gas plant and instead put that into building renewables.
