The Value of Unity in the 21st Century

Paul is calling out with a variety of examples that would have been clear to the people in his day, perhaps slightly confusing for us at times. And this is an example of people being disunified from God because they are worshiping false gods. I wonder how much value there is in us reading this letter. Can we see similar elements surrounding us today?
