Do You Need a File Cabinet Next to Your Desk?

A desk should have a file cabinet next to it, and all office supply should be at that desk. If we have 50 files per drawer, we can't remember our files. I usually tell people to put their file drawers in phabetical order because just easier. One wife asks, ilike a place that is sort of neat and cluttered? My husband is perfectly comfortable sitting at a kitchen table piled with papers. I feel uncomfortable eating that way. We've talked about living with less clutter. What can i do?
