The Trial of Garro

Garro hired a lawyer, Frank Armani, who worked hard on his client's behalf. He convinced the cops that Karen and Lenny were lying to set Garro up. With two witnesses afraid to speak up, in the end, a city judge dismissed the case. Six months later he abducted two girls aged 10 and 11 at gunpoint in front of an ice cream shop. In the eyes of the court, Garro was beyond reproach. There was nothing to stop him from carrying right on with his spree.
