Introduction
The book of Bemidbok comes to a close that's very strange indeed. Earlier in the parashav pinchus we read of how the five daughters of Tzilovkot came to Moses with a claim based on justice and human rights. Their father had died without sons but they were entitled to his share as he was their only heir. God found in favour of the women, giving them possession of an inheritance among their fathers' brothers. He also gave Moses further instructions about the disposition of inheritance.
