The Human Sacrifice in Hawaiian Culture
In pre contact hawaii was not quite at the level of sa like, you know, the hieratic city states that we consider the first civilizations in sumeria and egypt. This was a developing civili ation, like they were getting there. And so you start to seei for example, human sacrifice. But once you kind of reached the point where civilization has been consummated, you'll till you'll still see human sacrifice. I mean, a or sacrific ing general. The romans sacrificed a couple of humans when hannibal was at the gates, just caus they were frightened. So you still see that kind of stop but, ah, but it starts to drop
