The negative side of us is our morbid curiosity. The positive side of us usually comes in its wake, unless we kind of quell that compassion and talk ourselves out of it. Well, the morbid curiosity of looking up to someone's suffer on a cross hopefully draws our heart to ask the obvious question: What is he doing there? Or better said, who is he suffering for? And if we do behold him, will I hold guiltless before my Father when I shall stand to judge the world?
