The Hardest Part of Singing Is Getting Out of Your Own Way

I think the hardest part of singing is getting out of your own way, is dropping the ego and like just being a kid about it. One of the most amazing leaps we made as a duo was the day I was like not letting you tell me what the real objective thing was because I was so afraid and so anxious. That was not long ago. And I feel like once I really like started to just trust you and trust the process and trust me, my voice started to open up more.
