The Matrix World Building

The Matrix uses human body heat to power a robot society that expands the entire globe off of, like, using human body heat as a battery. The problem with the matrix world building is it's told to us by humans in the far future of this world that are trying to piece together records that were destroyed by the machines during the war. It takes almost as much energy as the human body puts out to maintain a human body.
