The Infallibility of the Apostles
At the end of His ministry, it is 40 days of trying to prepare and purify the Apostles for all that lay ahead. So that 40-day ministry, Jesus is showing himself to them. We'll see fallibility among the Apostles in the Book of Acts and the letters of Paul. But as I often reassure my students, unanimity helps offset fallibility. That's a beautiful reassurance. They were never meant to be infallible to begin with. Their testimony is what was. Christ proved Himself in infallible ways that He still lives. And Apostles know that.
