"Dad, a tsunami has just destroyed Japan and it's heading for California. You need to get out of bed right now," Campin recalls his daughter telling him. The pair made a pact: They would speak every Sunday at 12 p.m., no matter where they were. "I can still pick her up, and I can still hold her in my arms," he says about the 5'10 inches tall girl who lives with him.
