John lots has changed in the decades since jim put forward his guy hypothesis, and he did see many of his dictions that came from that on the state of the planet come to pass. On the whole, though, i would say he had a sense of great foreboding. He was absolutely clear and consistent that burning fossil fields was wrong and was taking us all on to a perilous path,. The groan of irus pandemic might have been a negative back of the gaye system to try to trim the human population. There might be more of this to come.

James Lovelock, the creator of the Gaia hypothesis, died last Tuesday on his 103rd birthday. Known as something of a maverick, the scientist and inventor was one of the most influential thinkers of the past century.
