The Different Experiences of Single Men in the Church

When you look at the pews, it is like 90% women, 10% men. So men are these precious, wonderful things for even showing up. And they are also afforded all sorts of privileges. They are grownups who are buying houses and starting their careers. When I after my divorce at 26, I went and I stayed at home with my parents for a year because I had quit my job for my husband to stay home and raise his son. People in my parents ward were just utterly confused that I was moving out of their house.
