Roland Martin's new book, The Power of One is published by Simon & Schuster. He talks about how success can actually be bad for us at the soule level. A friend told him he was missing a book that would have destroyed his life if he'd written it when he was 40 or 50. And so i let my own relationship with god begin to slide, my own sole care. I just thought, no, i'm doing ministry. I don't need to care for my soul. So yet, it really is shockingly damaging.
