The Relationship Between Insulin Resistance and Glucose Metabolism

During at rest, insulin increases after a meal and that's an important factor for storing the glucose. And then during exercise, what happens to insulin, for example? Well, exercise is interesting. It falls with exercise and the amount it falls depends on... may depend on the intensity of exercise,. The fall in insulin inhibits glucose production from the liver. When insulin falls, the liver is more able to produce glucose. But the contracting muscle can consume glucose in the absence of insulin.
