The Advantages and Disadvantages of Traveling in Winter
So many advantages. I think firstly, it was less crowded than we'd anticipated. The trains were really quiet and we could get a seat every time. So being a family of four, I thought we might be separated on some trains, but we always got seating together. Seeing snow and just so different to Australia, such a contrast was really, really good. Yeah, and just the fact that we had all the clothing and were prepared. Again, I can't fault going in winter. So many people told me it would be gloomy and depressing and miserable and it was the complete opposite. And I would do it again in a heartbeat inwinter because it's just so different from anywhere
