Nietzsche's Love Affair With the Greeks

Even in spite of the fact he says much more scathing than things, there is always a sort of admiration and respect for Socrates. Without this new Socratic worldview, Greek society may have been dying and disintegrating anyway. And so we see how all of these sort of things that Nietzsche understands about, or asserts about Socrates, eventually become transferred to Christianity.
