Do Boys Have the Skills to Negotiate the Terms?
Boys are, in my experience, skilled negotiators. I think really bright kids can be skilled negotiators. Theyve just a strong mastery of language. And so when is something like, imn to need your tablet, they keep going with disrespect. Now imano need your tablet for the next hour. Now you're at an hour and a half. Bummer. Now you've lost it for two. Or one of our favorite consequences with kids that are old enough: run up and down the driveway once, or run a lap around the house.
