The API has sent mixed messages to the market. I think you can bet on like cost going down, but there's not a smooth ramp or an architecture experience though. There are some things that you can do with GPT4 right now that no one's practicing. And because it's too slow for the language model to generate tokens, like you have to let these language models think out loud and improve their performance. The classic example is the thing that actually inspired me to go all in on AI last summer, which was the let's think step-by-step paper that came out last January.
