There's always this rebellion period, and what is that rebellion? It's a detaching. It's a removal of that attachment, that thing that we feel tethered to. And it can happen in really healthy ways, or it could be totally destructive. So I grew up Catholic. My mother was a nun before she had me. She got pregnant by a priest and was forced to have an abortion at one point. But yet she never lost her faith.
