The Problem With Freedom
I like regular feedback and I like the effectively structure and time. Other times, actually freedom petrifies me. If you're on a roll, if the ideas are coming kind of free, it's not a problem. But then some of them are quite obviously going to take too long, etc. They're a bit too ambitious. There it is. That wide world. Look at there is all these subjects and all these books. Every one of them took some force on three years to do. The ones I've thrown away also took some poor sod 3 years to do, etc. Almost everybody I know in journalism has sent me a book in the last year that they've written.
