The business competition theory was that one of their competitors spiked the ingredients of the Vietnamese coffee only Murna drank from that booth. People believed Jessica killed Murna because she wanted Murna to be with her romantically. Alleged screenshots came out of a conversation between Murna and Jessica and in the messages they used phrases like, I love you and I'm really happy I want to kiss you. In Indonesian culture that's kind of a thing that's really only said between partners.
