Sally Kohn: I've always been a big fan of Bill and Ted's excellent adventure, so anytime a scholar has the time to put their focus on this movie, I take attention. So you have eliminators, which takes, it is amazing by the way, is extraordinary, fella. It is so of its time. Caul was together all the tropes like martial arts hero, cyborg, scientist woman, and puts them against the mad scientist who was obsessed with ancient Rome. And it's all about bringing him down, but there's loads of intertextual references in reference to other films. That's the kind of, that's the sense you're getting here.
