The University of Tokyo and the International Publishing Initiative
The idea is to provide resources for people who want to publish books in english. The president's office, i think, rectly identified that the the universities that they felt that they were in competition with or the universities that were part of their cohort,. humanities and such science have not had a good record of doing so. So i applied for the post. And an i interviewed, they flew me into tokyo.
