Life Is Not Easy but It Is
Epicurus writes in maxim 31 that it is easy to provide that which removes the feeling of pain going to want and make one's whole life perfect so there's no need for things which involve struggle end quote. The human condition need not be considered the lot of those condemned to tragedy and slaughter but that we can live simply happily and pass through life with ease Epicurus has a kinship with the dawists who regarded life as a thing not to be clung to which one should simply allow to pass by like all transient phenomena.
