The Importance of Contradiction in Marx's Economics
A generation upon generation of people who call themselves Marx's decock economists are constantly trying to fit Marxism into neo-classical economics. This will enterprise will always fail but even in failing they have prevented people who want to try to understand Marx from understanding what Marx really said, he says. In this tradition the very idea of contradiction is denied and once you deny the fact that capitalism is contradictory you don't need imperialism, argues Engels.
