What Is the Contrast Between History and Law?
Nuremberg gave us the concept of human rights, but there was also kind of a negative flip side to that. Nothing really I think could be sufficient to get back what was lost in post-war justice. But Linda at least considers the reverse possibility and she cites someone who says that no matter how good your historical narrative of the past is, it's never enough to foreclose the possibility of denial. Law might be able to entrench certain truths better than anything else.
